What are we looking for?

Anyone and everyone looking for care jobs in Ipswich and wider Essex have a place at Eagles Care Group. Whether this is the first step in your care career or your fifth, we're determined to give everyone a chance as long as they match our values and are passionate about providing home care.

In exchange, you will be provided with all the training, induction and DBS checks you need to get you started in a care agency that gives you flexibility and allows you to specialise.

What training do we provide?

Induction

As part of your first stages with Eagles Care Group, you will have an opportunity to shadow the shifts of more senior members of the team.

This will give you a solid insight into the role, the quality of the care we provide and give you an opportunity to get answers to any questions.

National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)

NVQs are your stepping stones to a rewarding career in care.

Provided by CareSkills, these will provide everyone with the foundational knowledge and skills they need to provide basic care and open doors for further specialisation.

Safeguarding

Every Eagles Care Group colleague has a responsibility for safeguarding. No matter the role, our training ensures that the people who support are safe and looked after.

With the guidance from our dedicated safeguarding manager and robust recruitment checks, we ensure that everyone on our team has completed up-to-date safeguarding and Mental Health Act (MCA) Oliver McGowan training.

Learning & Development

We have worked with experts across the fields of social and clinical care to develop a training program that exceeds industry requirements.

This includes specialist training programs for those with dementia and learning disabilities, which all recruits complete before being placed with clients.

Further Specialisation

As time goes on, you may feel a calling towards particular fields or care such as helping those with sensory impairments, physical disabilities or severe learning difficulties.

If you do, we can provide service-specific training to help you along the way.

Level 5 Care Managers (Optional)

Eagles Care Group will be looking for managers to join our senior staff as we continue to expand our team and operations.

In the event you have the interest and experience for the role but are willing to learn more in order to fully step into it, Eagles Care Group will fund your level 5 diploma to get you there.
